You assume the role of a child who felt into a place known as Underground. It is a massive region situated under the surface of the Earth, separated by a mystic barrier.
The story of Undertale for macOS happens in the Underground which is like a cave. There live a number of monsters after they lost a war with humans. That place is sealed from Earth by a special barrier. Also that place was created by some powerful wizards and only point of entry is at Mount Ebott. When your character falls there, first he meets a sapient flower named Flowey. The child gets help from this flower, learning him about the game mechanics.
Undertale allows you to decide to kill, flee or even befriend with the monster you encounter. Be careful with your decisions because these will chance the plot. Along with that, what you choose will influence also the progression of the game. At some point, you will engage in battles. Try to avoid attacks from your enemy and defeat them, too. While killing monsters, you are able to raise the ”LV” or ”LOVE” by earning ”EXP”.
